Tamara Soloniewicz Narewka Gallery
Narewka art and culture in a capsule
Just a few steps from us is the Tamara Soloniewicz Gallery, a place that invites you to enter the world of art, tradition and local culture.
Entering through the doors of the gallery, you cross the threshold of everyday life and enter the space, where paintings, photographs and sculptures tell the stories of the Białowieża Forest, the life of the inhabitants and the multilayered narrative of the south-eastern Podlasie.
The gallery acts not only as a venue for exhibitions, it is also a lively meeting center: workshops, ethnography lessons, poplar expositions, activities of the Narewczanka team and the Association of Friends of the Narewka Land.
Why it is worth visiting
- The authenticity of the place — the gallery is located at 50 Mickiewicza Street in Narewka, right on the border with the forest, which creates an unusual combination of art and nature.
- Proximity and tranquility — after a walk among the trees of the forest, you can pause for a moment of reflection and see how art relates to the place where you are.
- For the whole family — the exhibitions and activities of the gallery open up a space for children and adults to “read” the paintings together and discover the stories enshrined in the forms.
- An integral point of local culture — is one of those places that allows us to understand how life on the edge of the forest, in relation to nature, is reflected in art, crafts and community.
